Wishful Wednesday #46

Huhuhu... udah lama banget gak bikin WW... karena emang udah lama juga gak ngapdet blog >.<
Kebetulan... [padahal sih emang sengaja], ada Giveaway, jadilah dirajin2in bikin WW minggu ini :D

Norse Mythology by Neil Gaiman

In Norse Mythology, Gaiman fashions primeval stories into a novelistic arc that begins with the genesis of the legendary nine worlds; delves into the exploits of the deities, dwarves, and giants; and culminates in Ragnarok, the twilight of the gods and the rebirth of a new time and people. Gaiman stays true to the myths while vividly reincarnating Odin, the highest of the high, wise, daring, and cunning; Thor, Odin’s son, incredibly strong yet not the wisest of gods; and Loki, the son of giants, a trickster and unsurpassable manipulator. From Gaiman’s deft and witty prose emerges the gods with their fiercely competitive natures, their susceptibility to being duped and to dupe others, and their tendency to let passion ignite their actions, making these long-ago myths breathe pungent life again.

Tapi harganya pricey banget T_T - bisa beli di BookDepo Rp235.635.

[COVER REVEAL] Buns by Alice Clayton

The third in the hilarious yet sizzling hot Hudson Valley series from New York Time and USA TODAY bestselling author Alice Clayton.

Clara Morgan is living the dream, if you can call rebranding hotels that are desperate for a new life and running any kind of marathon a dream. Which she does. But the career she loves and the endurance races that keep her adrenaline pumping have kept her too busy to put down any roots. Growing up in foster care, she’s never been able to establish traditions of her own, which may be why she’s fascinated by the rituals that generations-old family resorts are known for. She’s especially interested in the Bryant Mountain House, and not just for their secret recipe for the yummy, gooey, can’t-get-enough-of Hot Cross Buns….

Archie Bryant, the man with the Buns, is fifth generation and one-day-owner of the charming yet run-down Bryant Mountain House in Bailey Falls, New York. He’s determined to save his family’s legacy from the wrecking ball the old-fashioned way—by gritting his teeth and doing what needs to be done. There’s no way Archie will be influenced by the new hotel branding expert his father brought in to turn one hundred and fifty years of tradition on its head just to attract a faster, younger, slicker crowd. But when some of Clara’s ideas start bringing in new, paying customers, Archie can’t deny that she may have just given him a shot at keeping his resort open.

It’s sticky, it’s messy, it’s sweet, it’s Buns.

It's been a while since I really post something promotional such as a cover reveal or event a book review, I wish I can do like I used to...
Anyway... here you go, the last book of Hudson Valley's series... which I love and made want to live there also... :3

[MASTER POST] Read and Review Challenge 2017

hahaha... I know I will always take up a challenge... because... because I love to plan, but to execute is another thing....

most of my previous years' challenges were failing miserably... last year I didn't take other challenge except on Goodreads, which by standard it came naturally along with the book registration... [and by honestly last year Goodreads' also a disaster >.< ] :D

and since BBI event generously host this year challenge: Read & Review Challenge 2017, I will bravely take the challenge... and how will the result?? I don't dare to estimate... just flow with the mood, Okay??!!

yeah, right!! :d

anyway... wish me good luck and wish me having a better great reading year!

Happy new year everybody! :3
