BBI 2nd Anniversary Giveaway Hop



in BBI 2013 birthday, i'm hosting my first ever giveaway... :D

it should be special and cool!

we're going to have so much fun... because all you have to do is write a few words or as long as you want to about your favorite film of book adaptation...

IMHO, a film of book adaptation is just like a dream comes true... though many of them are sucks! :d
but there are numbers of film which really catch the story in the book...

one of my favorite film of book adaptation is Life of Pi... the film is really well made, the imagination is really well presented... and even though, it's been a while since i red the book, the film didn't had blank gaps which sometime could only filled by the book reader...

and since not many film of book adaptation is as good as the book, many people has their way of choosing, which one they rather to see the film or better to read the book... :)

so... the requirements of this giveaway are:

  1. you have to have a blog (where ever is fine)
  2. you write a blog entry about a book that you want to be made into a movie [of course do tell why] OR you may also write about your favorite film of book adaptation [and tell why]
  3. post your link of the blog entry in the comment box below along with your email address and have your friends vote for you!! ;-)
  4. the latest post for blog entry comment is 25 April 2013 on 21.00 WIB
  5. the winner will be announced on 27 April 2013 on 09.00 WIB

that's all... pretty easy, right?

and the PRIZE...

i'll give the prize in 2 categories,

  1. first, i'm choosing the best blog entry [subjectivity is on my hand :D ] and the price is you may choose any book(s) which already adapted into a movie OR any book(s) which you want to be made into a movie - max. price is IDR 200,000, subject to availability in the nearest book store off line or on line ;-)
  2. second, everyone can submit their vote of best blog entry, the winner is the blog entry which is the most loved by their readers [who vote and post in this comment box]; the price is the same as above, you may choose your book(s) - max. price is IDR 100,000, subject to availability in the nearest book store off line or on line ;-)

*) i'll only count once for the submission vote with name, i don't count the anonymous vote [and the ones which have the same email :d ], the latest vote post is 26 April 2013 on 21.00 WIB

 i'll make this giveaway also eligible for people who lives abroad, if you win, you may choose your book on depository.com with max. price is USD 20 for the first category or USD 10 for the second one - too cheap, eh? we may negotiate later :D

    aku pengen banget nonton film The Fault In Our Stars by John Green, filmnya masih dalam proses dan baru beberapa pemain yang udah terpilih salah satunya yang jadi Hanzel :)

    Adaptasi antara BUKU dan FILM selalu menjadi pro kontra. Dulu aku benci banget ama buku yang di film, soalnya selalu gak pernah memuaskan... (ˇ▼ˇ)-c<ˇ∨ˇ)

    Kebencianku ini justru menjadi objek penelitian dalam skripsiku yang harus ditempuh dalam waktu dua tahun... ( ʃ⌣ƪ) #AmpeLumutan

    Berkat skripsi tentang film adaptasi dari novel, aku baru tau bahwa itu adalah proses yang sangat sulit. Dan yang paling penting adalah FILM dan BUKU itu beda.

    FILM adalah bahasa visual sedangkan NOVEL adalah bahasa tulis. Teks mampu membimbing imajinasi kita secara bebas, sedangkan visual memberikan bentuk nyata.

    Membaca novel dengan menonton film adalah dua pengalaman yang berbeda. Yang pertama seni bertutur dengan kata, sedangkan yang kedua adalah bertutur dengan gambar dan bunyi.

    Ini hasil skripsiku; Representasi Citra Perkawinan Poligami dalam Film Ayat-ayat Cinta. Filmnya memang jauh dari kata sempurna, tetapi justru dari itulah kita bisa memahami betapa antara novel dan film adalah sesuatu yang tidak dapat kita bandingkan.

      Kalo kata temen-temen jaman kuliah adalah skripsi yg edan. Udah bahas film, bahas poligami pula, dobel sinting... gyahahaha... :D

      Waktu ditanya pas akhir sidang skripsi; Setujukah dengan poligami?

      Aku jawab; Berbagi bapak saja susah, apalagi berbagi suami... :)) #KemudianHening

      Dulu, pas cari referensi buku tentang poligami, tiap menelusuri dari toko buku ke toko buku lainnya, malah dicurigai mau poligami, hasyem... :))

      Jujur, aku kecewa berat dengan filmnya. Setelah bertemu beberapa kru dibalik layar, jadi mengerti kenapa film Indonesia tidak pernah maksimal. Awalnya, skenarionya ini hampir 80% bukan bahasa Indonesia, tapi dikhawatirkan jadi 'berat', skenarionya bahkan dirombak beberapa kali. Ternyata berat ya menyuguhkan film yang sesuai selera masyarakat dengan bugdet yg ada... :p

    Aku suka banget sama Novel Fiksi Forgiven karya Morra Quatro dan jujur pengen banget melihat buku ini di adaptasi ke dalam film? kenapa? Oke, buku ini bangus benger menurut aku, dan rumit. dan hal ini akan jadi tantangan bagi para film maker diluar sana, karena aku yakin semakin besar tantangan itu, Hasilnya akan jauh lebih indah. Iya, indahnya adalah ketika berhasil mengalahkan semua tantangannya.
    Selain itu, Setting SMA di Yogyakarta, Aksi bangkai tikus sampai Karla yang loncat dari tembok pengen banget aku lihat dalam bentuk audio visual, Terusan juga Setting di Boston, dan aksi ledakan (hasil ketidaksengajaan Will) di perusahaan tempatnya bekerja. Ingin lihat juga bagaimana seramnya Para polisi penjaga di penjara amerika sana, dan peroses meninggalnya Will yang entah di kursi listrik atau suntik mati.
