The Greek mythology has fascinated me from a long time a go, though I'm not really study it seriously, but stories about the God and Goddess will always captivate me...

I remembered how the TV serial of Xena and Hercules to be my must saw TV programs when I was younger.

And a few months a go when I stumbled upon this book, I know that I have to read it...
The thing is not many online book store sell this book, I only found it on Amazon.com and ebay.com by a store from Australia, however fortunately when I checked Kobo.com, they have it... #yay!

It's about a young girl named Medusa, who has been punished by Athena (the Goddess of Wisdom) for something she was not at her fault, as she has been accused for disgracing her temple by seducing Poseidon (the God of the Sea).

Medusa is cursed to become a monster with snake as her hair and ability to change animal or human being by her eyes and exiled to a far away island. Though, being exiled, she has best friends, a man and a God, Hermes, the God of transitions and boundaries.

After 2000 years, finally, Hermes, her best friend can actually talked to Medusa and brings her to the Olympus for justice.

I really love the story, the story with different angle of what we used to know, the ancient Greek with setting of modern world. That actually, the mythology has survived until now with some adjustment that might make sense...

Along the way, I always intrigued to check for the God or Goddess over wikipedia.com, but I can restrained my self and just enjoy the story... ;-)

If you love Greek mythology, then you should read this book... if you don't then maybe you should try to read it as well, and see if you'll like it then...

From my self, I gave it 5 out of 5 stars for this story... ;-)
